37 months of official waiting today!!!!

37 months ago today our file was logged in giving us our place in this long, long line.I never dreamed we would still be in this process after so long! I am ready to get off this ride!!

Referrals have arrived this week for families logged in March 7th and 8th. While its only two days, the 7th of March was a large day worldwide with lots and lots of families logged in so its better than it sounds. Also, we have some reports of families with log in dates of March 9th getting a referral so it appears they matched a few additional families. That doesn't happen very often.
Now, on the the real question, when will we get our match?? It looks good for us to receive our match in early June or July. So we wait a little longer!

Three years and counting

As of yesterday, March 21, 2006 we have been officially logged in and waiting for three years. At least we are finally close. The rumors are continuing to suggest that the process is about to speed up a little. Travel Approvals for those who received a referral in early March have already started to arrive.(Thats fast-- barely two weeks) We should start to hear more news this week and hopefully referrals will arrive before the end of March and the rumors will be true. Right now the rumors suggest the next batch of matches will cover between March 9--March 14th.

Early rumors this month....

We already have our first rumor this month. Multiple agencies are reporting they expect the next two referral batches to cover more log in days that we expect. What does this mean? Well only time will tell as rumors often turn out to be just that.
However, sometimes they are correct and we are always hopeful they will be.

Matching cut off is March 6, 2006

Our agency sent out an e-mail stating they have received confirmation from the CCAA (China Center of Adoption Affairs) that this months matches are through March 6, 2006. So now we wait another month to see how far with they get with the next batch. We are currently 15 log in days away so I am going to predict we will be matched at the end of June and travel in August.
Slowly but surely we are getting there!

Finally, some rumors!

Finally yesterday we got some rumors about the next batch of referrals. I looks like they will be matching through March 6, 2006. This is all we hoped for because March 7th is a very big day with many, many families logged in. Hopefully next month they will do more than the 7th as we have never had a one day batch. Right now, only 15 log in days are left until we will finally be matched. SLOWLY but surely we are getting closer! I really hope we are traveling before summer is over!
